The Ship
For the movie, Last of the Earthmen, I wanted the main earth ship to be as dilapidated and beat-up on the outside as it was on the inside. After all, our heroes are not the most responsible of people. Plus, with earth (and all humanity) destroyed, spare parts for this one-of-a-kind prototype spaceship would be hard to come by.
Originally, I planned on posting some test footage of the ship. As our apartment isn’t big enough, we had another location where we were going to film. Unfortunately, there were some complications and we had to set up at a secondary location (the tennis court at our apartment complex.) Sadly, we had to cut things short due to a couple of impatient gentlemen who evidently wanted to use the tennis court to actually play tennis.
We did manage to get a few still shots, however. Along with some quick and rough Photoshopping, I was at least able to put something together for the blog.

(No, those aren’t oars. They are part of the ship’s dubious hyperdrive system. )
